SIGNON has created an ETCS transition concept for different ETCS equipment projects with a border crossing to a neighbouring country (for example, Flensburg to Padborg in Denmark, Frankfurt to Oder in Poland).<\/p>\r\n

In terms of content, the transition concepts describe the automatic level transitions (normal operation and fallback level) for the respective project, for relevant transitions from ETCS to a Class B system or from the ETCS version of the DB Netz AG to the ETCS version of the neighbouring country. The decisive effects are examined in relation to rules and standards, operation and safety.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
